I Missed My Cruise

I know that mother knows best and I should always listen to her advice. But the one time that I didn't it cost me not only a cruise but my first cruise. I waited until the last minute to pack (that morning). Of course I did not get out of bed when I should have. By the time I had pushed the snooze button over a dozen times I was two hours late. Everything else snowballed and by the time I had gotten to the airport I had missed the plane. Therefore I had missed my cruise. It would not be as bad or so embarrasing but I work for the airlines. I know better. I have never been late again- especially when traveling by boat, by car, by train, or by plane.
