Cutting the Cables For the Ride Down
Late makes anyone look scattered, disorganized and late makes the statement
that the person or project waiting is not important.
Late can make the difference between thousands of dollars or even financial ruin.
Worse, late creates mistakes, makes people prone to accidents and car wrecks.
All that aside, late for me is like looking down from the tenth story and experience that dizzy nauseous sensation.
I can't think my heart pounds too loudly in my ears as I try to get down faster by cutting the elevator cables and the thick walls are closing in, about to squish me imbetween.
Regardless of the exterior calm I attain eventually, I remain the string that breaks, the pearls of my life bouncing and rolling in every direction, causing everything to slip and slide.
And the only way I can get anything done for the rest of the day is to walk quickly across a freshly waxed floor in high heels.
