Rude People At The Movies

I hate going to the movies now, the other people who sit by me are so annoying! When it costs $20 a couple to go to see a movie I expect to be able to sit and enjoy the thing... but this never happens. My local theater is so horrible, kids throwing change (coins) at other people during the movies, cell phone blabbing and endless gossiping drove me to drive thirty minutes away to go to the nicer theater, where alas things got no better. At a packed opening weekend showing I sat next to a drunk couple, they smelled like they had bathed in vodka, walked in late and talked endless about what was hapening in the movie since they missed the first 20 mins, "Who is that? Where are they?" They only time they shut up was when they ate nachos like loud chomping cows. Even better, when the girl had trouble seeing, due to an alcoholic haze, she leaned forward and somehow this upset her boyfriend who pushed her back in her seat and told her to "sit back" at which point they started to argue... I knew I should have never moved my coat so these freaks could sit next to me. We boycotted going to the movies for a long while after that, but then again we caved and on another opening weekend went to see another film at the "better" theater. This time we sat next to another drunk, this time a young man with several girls... they weren't loud or annoying, but the guy was so drunk and high that he began to puke... no lie, sad to say! First he puked in a bag he had with him, which he got all over himself, he got up with a girl and left, good I thought, but alas he went to the bathroom and cleaned up and came back with some popcorn and soda, he smelled horrible, my boyfriend wanted to move up all the seats were full and we had already paid and I convinced him to stay, a stupid mistake because into the film the guy started puking again, this time in his popcorn, to make it perfect he started argiung with the girls he was with about not wanting to leave, by this time the cops showed up and made him and the girls leave, however the theater would not refund any tickets. When you pay a lot to go out and enjoy yourself you expect others to be in the same situation and to be respectful... sadly this is not true where I live.
