Peace Breaker

The car windows are down;spring is in the air. I pull up to the red light enjoying the essence of a peaceful day. Next thing I know , there is a car beside me with music raging. The bass is turned up so high it sounds like the Blue Angels are flying overhead. The driver is singing offkey at the top of his lungs. I shake my head in disbelief counting every second until the light changes. As we pull away, I shout through my open window, "I am praying for your ears!" Stepping on the gas, I pull away to find the peace I lost.
