Official Contest Rules for "Best Prank" Contest(#2008040901)

1. Entries: To enter a contest you must use the submission form accessible by clicking on the "Submit Story" link at the bottom of the contest main page [http://www.uncliche.com/contests/2008040901](signing up and participating in a contest is free). Each entrant may submit up to 5 entries. By entering into the contest, you agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use [http://www.uncliche.com/termsofuse]. Failure to comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use or these rules, or otherwise attempting to influence contest results shall disqualify you from the contest. If this contest is not permitted by law, rule or regulation in the jurisdiction in which you reside, your entry will be deemed cancelled and have no effect.

2. Judging Procedure: The winner will be determined using all eligible entries and our own proprietary algorithm. Votes are processed in a manner that is designed to ensure a fair and unbiased voting process. This process also filters the lower scoring entries from the final results. The entry that has received the highest votes during the voting term (for dates, see below), will be the winner of the contest. There is only one round of voting, if two or more entries win, the entrants will share the prize equally.

3. Important Dates: Entries have to be submitted before 11:59AM on April 23, 2008, visitors of the Uncliche website may cast their vote from 1:00 PM on April 23, 2008 until 11:59AM on May 7, 2008, winners will be notified by email by May 16, 2008 and will be publicly announced on the website by May 16, 2008. All times are based on Eastern Standard Time.

4. Prize: The 1st place winner will receive, or winners in case of a tie will share $50, the 2nd place winner will receive $25, and the third place winner will receive $15. At our option, payment may be made by check, Paypal or other commercially available means. No substitute or alternate prize will be awarded. Our determination of winners is final.
